In addition to providing high-end French coopers with oak staves from the finest forests of the center of France, the Gauthier family provides handcrafted barrels to some of the most prestigious wine producers of Burgundy. Vinocolor
An original 100% natural red stain manufactured by Lyofal, based in Salon de Provence in the French Riviera. By applying it to their barrels, winemakers bring a brighter color to their barrel facility and hide possible splashes of red wine while avoiding fungus development. Extracted from red wines and grapes by lyophilization (dry-freeze), this high-tech stain is food grade, safe, and easy to use.
